American Intercon School Buidling, Mao Tse Tong Campus (Head Office)

1. Lim Kim Noy Tower

Having high and white appearance, Lim Kim Noy Tower of Mao Tse Tong Campus (Head Office) is located in front of Phum 7 primary school, Building 154, Street 402, Sangkat Tumnup Teuk, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh. The 17-storey Lim Kim Noy building has a total building area of ​​6922 square meters and a land area of ​​400 square meters. The building construction was completed in early 2015 with modern standards, quality, safety, comfort, 3 elevators, 1 staircase, and 1 emergency stairway.​ Lim Kim Noy Tower is the building which belongs to Nak Oknha. Mengly J. Quach, MD, MPH.

Lim Kim Noy Tower is not a rented building, and it is the sixth academic building after Quach Leng Hao building. All the classrooms are equipped with air conditioners and powerpoint slides to meet the learning needs of the students. Each floor is decorated with flower, sofas, and tables for serving student’s reading purpose.

Lim Kim Noy Tower is officially inaugurated on April 23, 2015. This building is for Khmer General Education students from grade 7 to 12, and it has been officially opened for learning progress since March 31, 2015.

2. Ngin Huy Building

Ngin Huy Building of Mao Tse Tong Campus is located at Building 29, Street 187, Krom 19, Sangkat Tumnup Teuk, Khan Boeung Keng Kang, Phnom Penh. The building has 3 floors and has a total area of ​​2929.9 square meters and land area of 1946.86 square meters.

After being officially renovated, construction began in 2007 and was officially inaugurated on August 16, 2007.

The name Ngin Huy is taken after Nak Oknha Mengly J. Quach, MD, MPH’s grandmother, who is a very kind person towards to her children and everyone around her. Among all the buildings, Ngin Huy was the first building named by Nak Oknha Mengly J. Quach, MD, MPH to pay tribute to his grandmother before other buildings since its inauguration. Ngin Huy Building has been redesigned, renovated and decorated to become more attractive by including the playground and paintings on the walls to attract students to come and learn with fun and fresh learning environment.

Ngin Huy Building is a school for learning Khmer general programs from Pre-K to grade 6, which has been opened since the academic year 2007-2008. In the academic year 2007-2008, Ngin Huy building was included an auditorium called Lim Kim Noy Auditorium, which was designed to facilitate important school events. However, in July 2015, Ngin Houy building was dismantled and renovated, and the auditorium was converted into a classroom. Renovation of the building involved remodeling the fences and the gates. Furthermore, it included school playground and offices such as Office of Student Affairs and Academic office by changing the wall from concrete to glass. Then, in 2021 the academic office of Ngin Huy building on the lobby floor was redecorated by changing the flooring and office mirror. The student’s affairs office was moved to Ngin Huy Corner building.

Currently, Ngin Huy building is used for Khmer General Education from Pre-Kindergarten to grade 6.

3. Ngin Huy Corner Building

Ngin Huy Corner Building is located at building 29, street 187, Krom 19, Sangkat Tumnup Toek, Khan Beoung Kangkong, Phnom Penh. This building construction was officially completed in 2017. The building has 6 floors, and it was officially inaugurated on October 17, 2017.

The building was named Ngin Huy Corner due to the fact that it was built near the corner of Ngin Huy building. Moreover, the name was taken after Nak Oknha Mengly J. Quach’s grandmother who was a kind-hearted person towards everyone. In order to pay tribute to this amazing woman, Nak Oknha Mengly J. Quach honorably named the building after her which was the first ever building name given by him.

In 2021, Ngin Huy Corner building was renovated by converting Te Pak restaurant into Student’s Affair Office and Counseling Room. Ngin Huy Corner building of American Intercon School is a 6-storey building which is open for Khmer general education from Pre-K to grade 6.
